RBA rate statement

RBA rate statement

The Reserve Bank of Australia will announce its rate decision at 7:30 MT time on July 4. The last time the RBA changed interest rates was in August 2016. Since then the regulator adopted neutral stance keeping its benchmark rate at 1.50%. AUD traders will be eager to know whether central bank’s officials change their outlook and monetary policy settings at this meeting or not. Any improvements in monetary policy projections or in economic outlook will be welcomed by AUD bulls. On the contrary, if RBA acts cautious, Australian dollar will get under negative pressure.
